Turn what you're learning into real-world experience

Build skills that go beyond the classroom.

At Martinez Media & Marketing Group, our interns don’t spend their time watching from the sidelines. They become part of the team, working alongside experienced marketing professionals on real projects for clients across agriculture, nonprofits, higher education, podcasts and more.

Whether you join us as a Marketing & Events Intern or Photo & Video Intern, you’ll have opportunities to build experience across a wide range of work. Depending on your role, interests and current client projects, that could mean interviewing people and developing content, helping produce a video or podcast, capturing photos and b-roll, creating social media content, tracking analytics or helping bring an event to life.

No two internships are exactly alike. We want to know what you’re interested in learning. When opportunities align with client needs, we’ll look for ways to help you build those skills while contributing meaningful work to the team.

MMMG offers part-time internships during the school year and full-time summer internships from our Manhattan, Kansas, office. Along the way, you’ll receive guidance, feedback and hands-on learning opportunities from our senior team.

If you’re ready to learn, willing to jump in and looking for an internship where every day can bring something different, we’d like to hear from you.

Current Opportunities

Two internship paths. Plenty of opportunities to learn.

We offer two internship opportunities: Marketing & Events Intern and Photo & Video Intern.

Our Marketing & Events Intern gains hands-on experience with content production, social media, client events, MMMG Rentals, analytics, podcast production and more.

Our Photo & Video Intern focuses more heavily on photography, videography, editing, reels, podcast production and event capture while also gaining experience with content planning and production.

While each internship has a primary focus, neither puts you in a box. Depending on your interests and current client projects, you’ll have opportunities to work across different types of projects, develop new skills and discover which areas of marketing and communications interest you most.

The role reports to the CEO, but works with the entire senior team for guidance, feedback and learning opportunities. To apply, email your resume and cover letter to stacy@martinezmediamarketing.com by September 30, 2026.

How many hours a week do I need to work during the school year?
We like our interns to work 12-20 hours a week, but we work with you around your school schedule.
Does the internship includes working nights and weekend?

The school year internship ends in May, at the end of the school year. For the summer internship, we like to start at least by June 1 and end by August 13. If applicants have concerns about dates, it can be discussed further.
What kinds of projects would I work on?
Every day is different for the entire team. You’ll work on a variety of projects; see each job description for more detail.
